Located on the campus of Centenary College, this small museum is a gem. One of the most interesting exhibits we have seen was on Buddhist monks in Thailand. It offered a photographed documentary of the monks' lifestyle and surrounding culture. It also included authentic art from the area as well as prayer flags and prayer wheels. Detailed and informative placards accompanied each piece of art. Soft, traditional music played in the background. The entire presentation was well put together and captivating. Other exhibits have included a phot documentary with actual survivors of Hurricane Katrina. In addition to rotating exhibits, there is a permanent collection upstairs that is not to be missed.
