It's impossible to visit Shreveport and Bossier without stopping at Mama's Oyster House, one of the best oyster houses in the state to eat. Mama's, Oysters House is located on the north side of the city, just a few blocks from the Red River, in a great location right next to the new Louisiana Aquarium. SALT (@ salthreveports.com), which is attached to our new Sh Reveport Aquarium, provides a nice lunch by the river in sunshine and features a courtyard overlooking the Red River and an outdoor courtyard overlooking downtown Bossiers.
